This course explores the dynamics of abuse and illustrates the deep impact of abuse on victims. Course participants will learn how to receive and respond to initial abuse disclosures and provide compassionate, theologically grounded, long-term care and accountability to victims and perpetrators in a church-based context.
This collection offers all the conference content available from our 2025 PeaceWorks Live event. The four plenary sessions will explore the centrality of worth and value in Christ in addressing domestic abuse. The seven Stewarding Survivor Stories track sessions will highlight seven common desires survivors have and prepare helpers to steward survivor stories with care and compassion.
